The hosts, James and Kate, went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs as a Celiac, even baking fresh gluten-free cookies daily. the breakfast spread was superb, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the B&B was perfect, just a short walk from the centre of Keswick. the room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of Skiddaw from the front window. the newly renovated room also had a basin for convenience. The house itself was charming and modern, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes and an iPad in every room. the dedicated drying room for guests' gear was a fantastic addition, especially for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. Overall, my experience at Clarence House was top-notch. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in the Lake District.
